Project Background

TickedOff is a state-of-the-art repairs and maintenance app, born from decades of experience in development and facility management. Known for its intuitive, mobile-first design, TickedOff provides comprehensive oversight of maintenance operations, from contractor management to real-time status updates. Servicing high-level brands globally, the app is pivotal in streamlining facility management processes. However, the TickedOff website needed a refresh to align more closely with its dynamic capabilities, requiring an update to enhance its messaging and visual elements to encourage more app downloads.

Objectives

The main goal for the TickedOff website redesign was to breathe new life into its digital presence. This meant:

  • Refining the Messaging: Sharpening the website’s copy to be more precise, effectively communicating the app’s benefits.

  • Enhancing Visual Engagement: Spreading out images and animations throughout the site to make it more engaging and reflective of the TickedOff brand.

  • Improving User Experience: Organizing content more intuitively and optimizing navigation to facilitate user interaction and increase conversions.

Key Features Delivered

Content Organization: Segmented over 30 pages and more than 50 articles by industry and role to tailor the user experience.

  • Dynamic Forms: Created faster-loading, dynamic forms to streamline user interactions and enhance lead capture.

  • Brand-Coherent Visuals: Selected and integrated a series of images and animations that resonate with the TickedOff brand and inspire users to download the app.

  • Mobile-First Design: Given that 80% of TickedOff’s users access the site via mobile devices, prioritized a mobile-first approach that scales seamlessly to tablet and desktop.

Our Approach

Discovery Phase:

Initial discussions with Adrian Black, the managing director of TickedOff, helped us align our objectives with the strategic goals of the company. We dove deep into understanding the app’s SaaS and managed services framework, researching key industry roles and features to ensure our design hit the mark.

Design Phase:

  • Messaging and Copywriting: We started with the website’s copy to define the tone and message, which guided the subsequent design phases.

  • Wireframing: Using Figma, we rapidly developed wireframes to give shape to the site, allowing for quick client feedback and iterations.

  • Image Selection: Chose high-quality images from stock sources to enhance the visual appeal and align with the branding strategy.

Testing and Launch:

  • Comprehensive Testing: We extensively tested various components and interactions on the site, refining the copy and visuals to ensure alignment with TickedOff’s vision.

  • Pre-Launch Review: Conducted a thorough review of the forms' functionality and scrutinized the content and design for errors, following a meticulous pre-launch checklist to ensure everything was in place.

Results

  • Enhanced Website Experience: The revamped site features a more user-friendly interface with visually appealing CTAs distributed throughout, and a navigation bar that provides quick access to all sections.

  • Increased Traffic: By the second month post-launch, we observed a doubling of site visits compared to previous metrics.

  • Client Satisfaction: Adrian Black expressed immense satisfaction with the new site, providing consistent positive feedback that has significantly boosted lead generation efforts.

  • Marketing Synergy: The marketing department is now better equipped to connect the website and landing pages, aiming to increase conversion rates with the new look.

  • Positive User Feedback: Customers have responded well to the new site, appreciating the improved accessibility to support through the updated website.
