Project Background

The Mental Health Today Podcast (MHT), hosted by Ken Stearns, is all about breaking the stigma around mental health through real conversations. To expand its reach, MHT needed a website from scratch—not just a podcast hub, but a platform that connects listeners, highlights key stories, and provides mental health resources.

Our Approach

Discovery Phase

The first step was understanding Mental Health Today Podcast—its mission, audience, and content. Through discussions with Ken Stearns, we outlined the core objectives, ensuring the website would be more than just a podcast archive. It needed to be a space where visitors could easily find episodes, explore mental health resources, and connect with the stories being shared.

Design & Development Phase

With a clear vision, we designed a website that felt both professional and welcoming. The color palette, typography, and visuals were carefully chosen to reflect the podcast’s tone. Structuring the content was a priority, so we organized episode transcripts, guest highlights, and mental health insights in a way that made navigation simple and intuitive.

To keep visitors engaged, we integrated YouTube videos, added interactive sections, and focused on making the site fast and easy to use across all devices. The goal was to create an enjoyable experience that encouraged exploration and deeper connection with the podcast’s content.

Implementation Phase

Once the site was ready, we tested everything to make sure it worked smoothly—from podcast integrations to the AI-powered chat feature. We optimized performance to improve loading speed and ensured the layout worked well on both desktop and mobile. After launch, the results spoke for themselves: an increase in subscribers, stronger audience interaction, and positive feedback from both listeners and guests.

Results

  • 26% more subscribers than expected.

  • Guests felt valued, appreciating how their stories were presented.

  • Better audience interaction with the AI chat guiding visitors to relevant content.
